Essential PPE – How to Donate

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is vital to protecting medical professionals and first responders as they treat patients and combat the COVID-19 pandemic. It is also in short supply in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and around the world. 

Cuyahoga County announced a donation collection center for personal protective equipment (PPE). Gov. Mike DeWine also put out an urgent call for PPE

If you have unneeded PPE, you can donate it by:  

  1. Bringing it to the Donation Collection Center at 2501 Harvard Ave. in Newburgh Heights. The center is open weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

What items are of critical need?  

  • Surgical gowns (S, M, L, XL, XXL) 

  • Face/surgical masks (adult, pediatric) 

  • Gloves (nitrile, vinyl, or butyl) 

  • N-95 particulate respirators 

  • Isolation gowns 

  • Face shields  

  • Tyvek coveralls 

  • Thermometers 

  • Foot coverings 

  • Ventilator tubing 

  • Disinfecting wipes 

  • Hand sanitizer
