Ohioans Protecting Ohioans: What does it mean?
Information from the Ohio Department of Health
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced on May 19 that the "Ohioans Protecting Ohioans Urgent Health Advisory" has replaced the "Stay Safe Ohio" order.
The new health advisory replaces orders with strong recommendations.
What has changed?

Ohioans are no longer required to stay at home; the order strongly recommends that all citizens, especially those at high-risk, stay at home when possible.

Overall travel restrictions are lifted; unnecessary travel within or outside the state is still discouraged.
What has not changed?

Mass gatherings of 10 or more are still restricted.

The following individuals are still prohibited from entering the state, unless they are doing so under medical orders, are being transported by EMS, or are a permanent resident of Ohio:

Those who have tested positive for COVID-19 and have not recovered.

Those with a probable diagnosis of COVID-19.

Those with COVID-19 symptoms.
