Cuyahoga County has posted a Forecast of Purchasing and Contracting Opportunities for the period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023.
The document outlines anticipated purchasing and contracting needs for the County, in accordance with a January 2021 executive order issued by Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish.
The goal of this forecast is to:
- Enhance competition by helping vendors learn about potential prime contracting opportunities early in the process.
- Provide advance notice to enhance participation by small business enterprises (SBEs), minority business enterprises (MBEs), and women business enterprises (WBEs).
“The County spends many millions of dollars on contracted services. I want to make sure that everyone who is qualified has an opportunity to work with us,” said Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish. “We have done a lot to address race and gender disparities in the County’s contracts over the years, but we must do more. This forecast continues this important work.”
Prospective vendors must register in the Cuyahoga County Supplier Portal to receive notices about bid and proposal opportunities with Cuyahoga County.
The forecast is not a commitment by Cuyahoga County to purchase any of the goods and/or services included in the forecast. Cuyahoga County expressly reserves the right, at any time, to delay, revise, and/or cancel any projected purchase(s) or contract(s) listed in the forecast.
