The Office of Innovation & Performance has launched a new public dashboard for the County’s Cuyahoga Performance platform to help residents more easily navigate departmental data and information.

A tool to enable data-driven decision-making, Cuyahoga Performance uses data to identify where the County is making progress toward goal achievement and where opportunities for improvement exist.

Cuyahoga Performance is also a platform for telling the story behind County programs. Through the release of quarterly reports, the County aims to increase transparency, show the impact of County programs, and engage the community in conversations about how we can come together to achieve positive results for our community.

The Cuyahoga Performance dashboard includes a new, fresher interface for each tracked performance measure, and interactive graphs and data to help more easily compare individual points. Cuyahoga Performance will now also contain updated data through the second quarter of this year.

The Office of Innovation & Performance works with 24 County departments and agencies to manage 65 measure pages. Cuyahoga Performance measure pages correspond to one of each of the five themes of the Cuyahoga County Strategic Plan: regional growth, economic opportunity, individual well-being, mobilizing cross-sector resources and providing superior services.    

“The new dashboard is an exciting improvement that creates a more interactive experience for residents to understand how County programs and projects are performing,” said Chief Innovation & Performance Officer Catherine Tkachyk.

In 2021, Cuyahoga County was one of just 11 local governments nationwide to receive a Certificate of Distinction in Performance Management from the International City and County Management Association (ICMA).
