Cuyahoga County Issues RFP for County-Wide Employee Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Training

What is the goal of the RFP?
The goal is to develop and execute a training and education strategy that will increase the awareness, knowledge, and skills of Cuyahoga County staff, boards, and commissions as it pertains to diversity, equity and inclusion.

What types of training have been recommended?
Initial recommended trainings include:

  • Cross-cultural training and supervision
  • Uncovering unconscious bias
  • Bringing an individual and systemic lens to race, racial equity and structural racism
  • Exploring the intersection of race and other identities

How will the County measure success?
The RFP also proposes an evaluation plan to measure the effectiveness of trainings, as well as metrics and evaluations that demonstrate improved DEI knowledge, awareness and skills.

When does the RFP open and close?
The RFP is open now, and will close on Wednesday, April 14 at 11:00 a.m.
