Description of Board and Responsibilities:

Community Based Correctional Facilities (CBCFs) have been established by Ohio law as a sentencing alternative for non-dangerous felony offenders. Currently there are 18 CBCFs operating in Ohio. The funding for construction and program operation comes entirely from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. A Facility Governing Board (FGB) is responsible for oversight of the facility.

The Facility Governing Board meets on the second Friday during the months of January, April, July, and October at 8:30am at The McDonnell Center. 3540 Croton Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115. This meeting is open to the public. To avoid possible meeting cancellations, please contact the facility.
