Description of Board and Responsibilities:
The WRAAA Advisory Council shall be the official advisory body to the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging which encompasses a five county area serving Cuyahoga, Geauga, Medina, Lake and Lorain County. In this capacity the Advisory Council shall provide a forum for older adults, consumers, elected officials, agency representatives, and others interested in the concerns of older adults.

The membership shall consist of more than fifty percent older persons representing those older persons with the greatest economic or social need, older minorities, and participants or programs funded through the Older Americans Act.
