Description of Board and Responsibilities:
Community Based Correctional Facilities (CBCFs) have been established by Ohio law as a sentencing alternative for non-dangerous felony offenders. Currently there are 18 CBCFs operating in Ohio. The funding for construction and program operation comes entirely from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. A Facility Governing Board (FGB) is responsible for oversight of the facility.

The Facility Governing Board and the Judicial Advisory Board will meet Thursday, January 8th at noon at the Justice Center 12th Floor.
The Facility Governing Board meets on the second Friday during the months of April, July, and October at 9:30am at The McDonnell Center, 3540 Croton Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115.
