Convenience Fees for Credit Card, Debit Card and Electronic Check Usage
Accepted credit cards include American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. All convenience fees are paid to Point & Pay, the financial transaction provider for the Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts. View Cuyahoga County Code Chapter 718.
The Clerk of Courts’ pricing for credit card payments will be the following:
- $2.00 for all payments up to $50.00
- $2.95 for all payments from $50.01 to $100.00
- $5.95 for all payments from $100.01 to $200.00
- An additional $3.00 is added for each increase of $100.00 in payment amount
Also starting January 1, 2017, the cost to process an electronic check will be $2.00.
