With over 4,000 employees under the authority of the County Executive and the County Council, establishing policies and procedures for the county workforce is essential. The Human Resources, Appointments & Equity Committee, chaired by Councilman Martin J. Sweeney, reviews and approves all amendments to the County’s Human Resource Policy manual, as well as determining the appropriate classification of all County positions. Additionally, this committee confirms all appointments to the county’s numerous Boards and Commissions.
