Ohio Revised Code 5747.53 refers to the Apportionment of the Undivided Local Government Fund. The Cuyahoga County Budget Commission adopted the current alternative method of apportionment in 1978. An amendment to the ORC, passed on October 3, 2023, allows for the approval of a new alternative method of apportionment. The Budget Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 9:00 am, to receive testimony on a new alternative method of apportionment approved by the participating political subdivisions.
