Last Chance Payment Plan Class

Financial Counseling is required to qualify for a third payment plan on delinquent property taxes. The Financial Empowerment Center offers flexibly scheduled session both virtually and in-person.

Target Audience: Property Owners who are seeking a 3rd Delinquent tax contract

Location: Virtual or In person at the Financial Empowerment Center

Important Attendance Requirements - please read below:

To receive credit for completing the required counseling class, YOU MUST:

  • Keep your camera turned on for the entire class.
  • Remain in the meeting for the full one-hour presentation.
  • Participate from a location where you can focus on the presentation without interruptions.

Please note that leaving early or having your camera turned off may result in not receiving credit for completing the class.

 

Before the Class

  • Make sure your device has a working camera and a reliable internet connection.
  • If possible, use a computer or tablet for a better viewing experience.
  • Find a quiet place where you can remain for the full hour.
  • Please join a few minutes early so you are ready to begin promptly at 10 a.m.

 

How to Join the Class Through Microsoft Teams

  1. Click the Teams meeting link below a few minutes before 10 a.m.
  2. If prompted, select “Continue on this browser” to join without downloading the Teams app. You may also choose to open the meeting in the Teams app if it is already installed.
  3. Enter your name if requested.
  4. Allow Teams to access your camera and microphone when prompted. Turn your camera on before joining.
  5. Select “Join now” and wait to be admitted to the meeting if necessary.
