CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County announced today the new web site for the Ideal Homes Program, which features newly renovated homes in eleven communities throughout Cuyahoga County.

Each home featured in the project has been customized and fully renovated by an experienced developer and exceeds all modern building and safety standards.  Every remodeled Ideal Home includes energy efficient upgrades including Energy Star appliances.  Finished homes in historic districts have met historic preservation requirements, maintaining the historic quality and charm that is so desired in these neighborhoods.

“This program is a tremendous opportunity to partner with cities to create some of the nicest homes on the street as part of our community development plan to strengthen neighborhoods,” said Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald.

The City of Maple Heights is one of the communities participating in this program.  “The Ideal Homes Program is an exciting investment in the City’s past and future,” said Maple Heights Mayor Jeffrey A. Lansky.  “The City of Maple Heights is celebrating another step in revitalizing our neighborhoods.”

The Ideal Homes Program is funded through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program and is a joint venture between Cuyahoga County and local communities. In addition to using the new web site at www.idealhomescc.com, those interested in the program can contact Jonathan Holody at (216) 698-2576 for additional information.
