CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald is pleased to announce the awarding of economic development loans to two Cuyahoga County businesses that will create jobs and make new investments in the city of Middleburg Heights.
Audio Video Interiors, Inc. and its Safety Technologies, Inc. affiliate operate as a high-end electronic retailer, selling home theater, audio and security systems and installation. The company is relocating from Medina County into a previously vacant building and will bring 28 jobs to Middleburg Heights, and will add 5 new full time positions over the next three years.
MB&W Collections Inc. dba A Much Better Way is a new consumer collection agency that will occupy a previously vacant building and will create 75 new jobs in the next three years in Middleburg Heights.
“Cuyahoga County is investing in business growth with direct job creation,” said FitzGerald. “We need to be strategic about the projects we are investing in so that the economic impact of the projects can be realized as soon as possible. The Audio Video Interiors, Inc. and MB&W Collections Inc. business are just two examples of strategic planning, which will bring over $3 million of payroll to our county.”
“I’m pleased to have worked in collaboration with County Executive Ed FitzGerald and the Cuyahoga County Department of Development on two important businesses that will be investing new jobs and capital to Cuyahoga County and the city of Middleburg Heights,” said Mayor Gary W. Starr of Middleburg Heights. “This is a shining example of how governments can be proactive and successful in working with private businesses to foster business growth for our region.”
