Ed FitzGerald Offers Six-Month Progress Report

CLEVELAND — Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald today issued a six-month progress report on efforts to reorganize and reform Cuyahoga County government.
“In our first six months, we’ve developed a long-term plan to create jobs, encouraged local governments to work together more collaboratively and fostered a more transparent, ethical way of doing business. These achievements, and others, represent a great deal of progress,” FitzGerald said.
The progress report consists of a summary letter and a detailed, point-by-point 50-page report intended specifically for the volunteers who served on the transition committees that guided Cuyahoga County’s transition to a new, charter form of government.
