Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office Impact Unit Assisting Eastern and Western Suburbs Next Week

CUYAHOGA COUNTY – The Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office Impact Unit will be assigned to both the western and the eastern suburbs in warrant and traffic enforcement assignments the week of June 4th, assisting Law Enforcement in those cities.

Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald: “We made a promise to our neighborhoods, citizens and law enforcement partners that we would assist in Community Policing efforts in our communities and we will help solve problems. We have achieved successes, we will work together to achieve more."

"The Impact Unit has made numerous arrests and seizures while working in this new Community Oriented Policing initiative. We will continue to assist local law enforcement, offering expertise and equipment to combat illegal or unsafe activity," said Sheriff Reid.
