Local businesses to be given 2% credit in County’s bidding process
CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County Executive Edward FitzGerald has joined with County Council leaders in establishing a Business Preference Program that will provide incentives to local businesses in the County’s competitive bidding process. This program will give a Cuyahoga County based company a credit of 2% of the lowest bid submitted by a non‐Cuyahoga County based business bidder.“Providing incentives to our local businesses makes sense”, said FitzGerald. “We want to keep local money in our local economy.”
