Cuyahoga County Supports Local Company's Concert Event App

CLEVELAND - Cuyahoga County recently awarded local software development company, In2une, a $125,000 loan. The company, based in Shaker Heights, is the latest North Coast Opportunities (NCO) loan recipient. The $125,000 NCO Loan will assist In2une in creating and enhancing web and mobile software applications for its live music concert discovery technology platform.
The company’s application brings new capabilities to promoting concert events and driving ticket sales for upcoming live music shows. The application functions as a social event calendar that embeds on the websites of concert venues and the more than 125 alternative weekly newspapers in the United States and Canada, providing concert-goers an opportunity to participate in a live concert experience, purchase tickets, and support local neighborhood restaurants, all with the click of a mouse or the touch of a screen from your smartphone. The software is customizable, allowing the alternative newspapers to feature their existing advertisers in a different format. In2une anticipates the project will create 50 jobs within five years, and increase its annual payroll by $5,000,000.
The North Coast Opportunities Technology Fund provides loans to accelerate technology-based entrepreneurship, create new high paying jobs, and increase the flow of private investment to Cuyahoga County technology companies. To date the Fund’s portfolio has attracted more than $10.5 million dollars in follow-on investment, created 50 jobs, representing an increase of $2 million in annual payroll. The In2une project represents the 23rd NCO Loan awarded by the county. The NCO program is a pre-seed program and incorporates Plan Principle 2 of Cuyahoga County Executive FitzGerald’s Western Reserve Plan, which promotes Greater Cleveland as a center of entrepreneurship and job growth.
