2,500 youth hired in jobs across Cuyahoga County

CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald and Youth Employment Opportunities share successes of the 2013 Summer Youth Employment Program. Local community leaders and youth in the program discuss their positive experiences.

The Summer Youth Employment Program hired and placed youth, ages 14‐24, in 25‐30 hours per week summer jobs in Cuyahoga County. The 2013 program began June 1, 2013 and will end this Friday, August 2, 2013.
