Cuyahoga County Encourages Residents to Sign Up for ReadyNotify

CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald today announced the launch of the county’s new mass notification system, ReadyNotify.
“As a community, we want to ensure that all residents are well-informed and prepared whenever an emergency occurs,” said FitzGerald. “The start of our new ReadyNotify system will enable us to immediately alert residents and disseminate important information about any situation that occurs in their neighborhood.”
The new service, which is free to the public and open for sign-ups beginning today, will provide residents and businesses with immediate information regarding:

ReadyNotify is a voluntary program – residents can sign-up to receive alerts by visiting http://www.readynotify.cuyahogacounty.us today. A valid e-mail address is required – options for receiving messages include:

- Home/Work Phone
- SMS/Text Messaging
