CLEVELAND - Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald today issued the following statement in response to published reports that Governor John Kasich plans to sign into law two bills that would roll back access to early and absentee voting in Ohio:

"I am very disappointed by this news. As I said yesterday, Cuyahoga County will not just stand by if Governor Kasich chooses to sign these egregious voting restrictions into law. We stood up and took action when these same rights were jeopardized just a few years ago, and we will do the same today."

How could we make it better?
