Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter’s Paw-ject Runway

CLEVELAND – The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter will hold a Paw-ject Runway, hosted by Channel 19’s own Dawn Kendrick, on Sunday, September 14, 2014, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Whiskey Island Marina, featuring celebrity guests and live band. Registration opens at 10:30 a.m.
Paw-ject Runway is an opportunity for canine’s to get on the catwalk and display his or her sense of style. The top twelve winners will have their photos showcased in the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter 2015 Calendar. All contestants will receive a calendar containing event photos.
The cost to participate in Paw-ject Runway is $20 admission per dog and one handler. The admission into the contest includes: admission to the Mutt Strut & Mingle, pack walk through Wendy Park led by Back to Basic Dog Training LLC, 2015 Dick Goddard’s Best Friend’s Medical Relief Fund Calendar and online voting for the calendar cover contest.
There is a $5 spectator fee or entrance to the Mutt Strut & Mingle only. Children 12 and under are free.
This event will also feature a Mutt Strut & Mingle, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., highlighting adoptable pets from around Northeast Ohio. All proceeds benefit the Best Friends’ Medical Relief Fund which provides veterinary care for sick or injured shelter dogs and puppies, affording them a second chance at a happy life.
