Deputy Ranks Grow to Facilitate Increasing Community Collaborations

CLEVELAND - Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish will swear in ten new Sheriff’s Deputies on Thursday, February 26 at 9:30 a.m. Growing collaborations and responsibilities for Cuyahoga County law enforcement has supported growth in the Sheriff’s Department deputy ranks. 

The Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department leads collaborative programs such as: the Community Policing Impact Unit, MetroHealth healthcare partnership in the Cuyahoga County Jail, real-time GPS monitoring, county-wide sex offender verification, and the Heroin Taskforce.
