Cleveland – The Cuyahoga County Treasurer’s tax payment website is experiencing technical problems and is currently unavailable. We are working to fix it and restore access.

Due to these server problems, the second half 2014 property tax collection is extended through Monday, July 13, 2015 until close of business (4:30 p.m.). Though we expect service to be restored soon, taxpayers have the following options to pay real estate taxes:

BY MAIL: Mail your check or money order and the bottom portion of tax bill in the envelope provided to 2079 East Ninth Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44115. It must be postmarked by July 13th and include your parcel number on the check.

BY PHONE: Call 1-800-2PAYTAX (1-800-272-9829) to pay your taxes by credit card (fee added) CUYAHOGA COUNTY’S JURISDICTION CODE IS 4501.

IN PERSON: Pay by cash, money order or credit card (fee added) at the Cuyahoga County Administrative Headquarters, 2079 East Ninth Street.

DROP BOX: Located in the lobby at the entrance of the Cuyahoga County Administrative Headquarters, 2079 East Ninth Street and all County Title Bureaus (during Collection Only).

Property tax bills for the second half of 2014 were mailed during the first two weeks of June.

Taxpayers who don’t have their tax bill can call (216) 443-7010 or (216) 443-7420 to obtain their tax amount for the pay-by-phone option.

The Treasury will remain open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9th to accept payments.
