Statement on President's Decision to Pull out of Paris Accords
CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County Director of Sustainability, Mike Foley issued the following statement:
“Climate Change is the greatest existential threat to our world and nation. The Paris Climate Treaty is the most important agreement between nations to collectively minimize the long term damages climate change will cause. President Trump’s decision today to pull out of the Paris Accords is destructive and dangerous. There is no logical or rational justification for it. None. Time will tell but this could be the single most environmentally damaging decision in the history of the world.”
