CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish, along with Cuyahoga County Public Library and Cleveland Public Library leadership, announced an innovative partnership to bring county services to neighborhoods in local library branches. The partnership will ensure that county residents can conveniently access benefits resources while connecting with education and workforce development programs at the library. By partnering with public libraries Cuyahoga County can touch residents in every community, every age, and every background, no matter where they are in the county or in life. Services will include:
“This is an exciting innovative partnership with our County and Cleveland Libraries that will significantly further two of our top priorities—putting our residents on a path to a career with a family sustaining wage, and making County services more easily available throughout our neighborhoods,” said County Executive Armond Budish.
“By making it more convenient for residents across Cuyahoga County to access the social services they need while helping connect them with educational and workforce opportunities at the library, we are doing our part to foster individual opportunity and community progress. We are proud to collaborate with Cuyahoga County and Cleveland Public Library to support our residents,” said Sari Feldman, Executive Director, Cuyahoga County Public Library.
"Cleveland Public Library looks forward to working with Cuyahoga County and the Cuyahoga County Public Library to fight community deficits. This is yet another way that we actively embrace new ways to adapt the library to the changing needs of the people we serve,” said Felton Thomas, Jr., Executive Director, CEO, Cleveland Public Library.
Residents will have convenient access in their community during the day, evenings and weekends at their local Cuyahoga County Library branch and soon will expand to Cleveland Public Libraries as well. Residents can also connect by calling 1-833-ASPIRE2 or online at www.aspiregreatercleveland.org.

- Basic Skills Education/Adult Basic Education
- High School Equivalency Test Preparation/ Adult Secondary Education
- Tests for Training/Employment
- Career Pathways Assessment and Counseling
- US Citizenship
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
- Family Literacy
- Digital Literacy
