CUYAHOGA COUNTY – Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish announces new Deputy Chief Economic Development & Business Officer.
Greg Huth has been named Deputy Chief Economic Development & Business Officer, overseeing performance management, strategic planning, day-to-day operations, and administrative functions of the Department of Development’s verticals: Economic Development, Community Development and Workforce Innovation. Huth joins Cuyahoga County from Cincinnati where he served as Deputy Director of Economic Development. Huth brings 20 years of economic development experience, having worked in the City of Cleveland’s Economic Development Office and in the County Prosecutor’s Office, supporting the County Department of Development.
“We need to help businesses create and grow jobs. Our economic development team is focused on ensuring that our region is economically competitive, our businesses are growing and profitable, and our community is vibrant, dynamic and diverse,” said Budish. “I believe that with Greg’s experience, he will be able to maximize our regional strengths and assets to help our local economy grow.”
