CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish issued the following statement:
“I hope our legislators will join me in opposing House Bill 114.
Here in Cuyahoga County, we know that growing renewable energy production means growing jobs -- creating a clean manufacturing industry, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and saving energy costs for our region. Our solar project, being constructed right now on the Brooklyn Landfill, exemplifies this. We need stronger, not weaker, renewable portfolio standards and energy efficiency standards to support more clean energy development for our state.”
