Cuyahoga County Posts Contracts, Loans and Grants Online

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH
– Today, Cuyahoga County launched an easy to access online listing of County contracts and economic development loans. Residents who are interested in contracts and other documents can now access them at opd.cuyahogacounty.us.

“It is one of our strategic priorities to make county government more open and transparent to our residents and to build trust in government,” said County Executive Armond Budish. “Providing information about all our contracts is a great step forward.”

The listings will be updated regularly by County staff on the Office of Procurement and Diversity (OPD) website. The OPD website also provides information on notices, awards and links to the Board of Control and Cuyahoga County Council agendas. The County plans to create a searchable database of all contracts, economic development loans and grants to update the functionality later this year.

“The new webpage is part of the County’s commitment to transparency and accountability,” said Inspector General Mark Griffin. “This is one more step towards expanding the openness and responsiveness of county government.”
