CLEVELAND – Today, Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish announced the resignation of his Law Director, Robert Triozzi and issued the following statement:

“County Law Director Robert Triozzi has submitted his resignation to me. He is moving on to pursue a role in higher education specifically in the area of justice reform—an area he and I are both passionate about.

Bob has been a tremendous support to me and my leadership—working tirelessly to help us navigate through the complexities of our daily work. His work within our community to move our key strategic priority of criminal justice reform has been invaluable.

I am saddened, of course, by his resignation but also excited for him as he takes this next step.”

Cuyahoga County Law Director Robert Triozzi stated:

“I’ve been exploring an exciting and meaningful opportunity in higher education in the area of criminal justice that now needs my full-time attention to put it in place. I’m looking forward to the next chapter in my law career and am grateful to have had the opportunity to serve as Law Director for Cuyahoga County.”

A search for a new Law Director is underway.
