CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish issued the following statement:
“The County is happy to be joining today the nationwide National Voter Registration Day event. This day aims to help make sure that every person has an opportunity to vote, and we are looking to do our part here in Cuyahoga County. Today we have volunteers on the ground helping people check their voter registration status and helping people register, which takes just two minutes.
“The right to vote is critical to our democracy, and in 2016 almost one-third of Cuyahoga County didn’t vote, so we are helping people get registered. Your vote is one of the most essential ways to affect change—your vote matters.”
