Budish Statement on Opioid Manufacturer Settlements

Cuyahoga County, OH – Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish issued the following statement:
“The manufacturers and distributors of opioids have caused terrible harm to our community and we are going to continue our fight to hold them accountable. We have reached settlements with two of the companies and continue to prepare for trial against several others. Our community has many immediate needs as a result of this epidemic and the settlement dollars we are receiving are going to be used to directly address the impact of this terrible crisis on our residents and on our systems.”
