Cuyahoga County Human Resources Launches Core ERP Functionality

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH
– The Cuyahoga County Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program announced today the launch of four critical Human Resources ERP components. The new ERP Human Resources functionality enables the County to standardize employee record keeping and integrates hiring, training and benefits into a single platform. With this milestone, the County now has a single system that serves as the Employee System of Record for approximately 8,000 employees in executive and non-executive agencies across the County.

“These four HR implementations are a huge step in the enterprise wide implementation underway at Cuyahoga County,” said Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish. “The launch of this critical component of the County’s ERP Program reflects my administration’s commitment to ensuring the project is completed efficiently despite the unpredictable hurdles we have encountered.”

Currently the global Human Resources system is maintained by the Human Resources Department. The next goal is for departments and agencies to securely maintain their own employee data by the end of 2020. The access to data can be handled securely, maintaining department and agency privacy by implementing restrictions that limit each groups viewing and maintenance access to only their own data.
