County Health and Human Services Buildings Remain Closed for General Services

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH
- On Monday July 6, 2020, the Cuyahoga County Administrative Headquarters building will reopen to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. In-person Fiscal Office and Treasury Department tax payment services will be available by appointment.

“To help better serve our residents, we are reopening our Administrative Headquarters building to the public,” said Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish. “The health and safety of our employees and residents is my top priority. Policies have been put into place to protect those who will be coming in and out of our building. These policies and practices are based on those recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, The Ohio Department of Health and the Cuyahoga County Board of Health. We will still be providing critical services online, and I encourage residents to visit the County website for more information on our online services.”

Both staff and visitors will be required to go through a health screening and temperature check, wear a face mask, and practice social distancing at all times, and there will be limited occupancy in the building.

In-person Fiscal Office services available at the Administrative Headquarters will include transfer and recording, auto title, real property, appraisal, and general services. Appointments are required for all transfer and recording services. For more information on scheduling an appointment with the Transfer and Recording Office visit the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Office website.

Appointments are also required for all Treasury Department transactions, except when making a child support payment or general tax payment on properties that are not in foreclosure, bankruptcy, or tax lien. Taxpayers should call 216-443-7420 to schedule an appointment with the Treasury Department.

Taxpayers should expect longer wait and processing times and are encouraged to make payments online, over the phone, by mail or Drop box. For more information on ways to pay Cuyahoga County property taxes visit the Cuyahoga County Treasury website.

All Cuyahoga County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) buildings will remain closed for general services. Some DHHS buildings are scheduled to reopen on July 27, 2020.
