Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner and Cleveland Police Department Ask for Public’s Help in Identifying Suspected Homicide Victim found on Ackley Road

CLEVELAND – The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office and the Cleveland Police Department are asking for help from the public and media in identifying a male found at 5935 Ackley Road on July 23, 2020. The victim was conveyed to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was treated, expired, and pronounced on July 24, 2020. This death appears to be a suspected homicide. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office has exhausted all efforts to identify the decedent through fingerprints on the local, state, and federal levels, with negative results.

The Cuyahoga County Regional Forensic Science Laboratory will develop a DNA profile of the decedent, which can be used for comparison with potential matches. Additional details include:

Sex: Male

Race: Black Estimated

Age: 30s – 40s

Height: 5”2

Weight/Body Type: 126 lbs., Muscular build

No identifying marks or tattoos
