CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – County Executive Armond Budish issued the following statement:

“I am pleased to congratulate Pernel Jones, Jr. on his election to President of Cuyahoga County Council. Jones has served the Council and the County well over his years as a council member and in his role as Vice President of Council.

“I’d also like to extend my congratulations to Cheryl L. Stephens who was named Vice President of Council.

“Both Jones and Stephens are long-standing public servants who work hard for the people of Cuyahoga County.

“I look forward to working with both of them and with the rest of council to continue to help the residents of Cuyahoga County thrive and to continue to create more opportunity for ALL the people of the county.”
