Division of Senior and Adult Services Community Social Services Program Seeks Partners
CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH - The Cuyahoga County Division of Senior and Adult Services’ (DSAS) Community Social Services Program (CSSP) provides adult day services, adult development activities, congregate meals, transportation and more through community-based contracts. In spite of COVID-19, DSAS’ CSSP partners provided over 124,000 meals and 121,000 hours of service to clients in 2020.
To support and encourage countywide community innovation and collaboration in service delivery, DSAS is expanding the programs offered within the CSSP to incorporate more innovation and outreach activities. A Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide services will be released June 10, and County organizations are encouraged to apply.
“We are challenging providers to come up with new programs that address the needs of the unique populations they serve,” said DSAS Administrator Tracey Mason. “We’re looking for services that result in long term improved outcomes for older adults and adults with disabilities.”
Submitted proposals must leverage local and neighborhood-based resources. DSAS encourages collaboration among senior centers, aging-service organizations, academic institutions, medical institutions, healthcare providers, non-profits and other community organizations.
The proposal submission deadline is July 12. A virtual pre-bid conference will be held June 17 at 11 a.m. to address questions prior to submission. Interested organizations can contact the Office of Procurement and Diversity at 216-443-7200 or OPD@cuyahogacounty.us to be included on the list of approved bidders.
