Donate school supplies to help students get ready for return to classrooms CUYAHOGA

COUNTY, OH - The Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS) has launched its annual back to school donation drive: Fill the Backpack Challenge.

As communities are slowly returning to normal, this school year thousands of Cuyahoga County children will be returning to their classrooms. Many local families need help providing the school supplies their kids need. Through its annual backpack distribution, DCFS strives to assist families by ensuring our youth have every tool they need to succeed. From pencils and paper to a colorful new backpack, every child deserves confidence on the first day of school. DCFS hopes to reach 1,400 kids this year. The public is invited to help guarantee every child has the supplies they need to succeed in the classroom.

There are two ways to join:

  1. Online Registry: Supporting the challenge can be done with a click of a mouse!
  2. Drop-off: Shop in person and deliver to our building
    • Schedule a time with our staff to deliver backpacks and/or school supplies at our building:
