Cuyahoga County Seeks Public Comment on All-Hazards Mitigation Plan

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – The Cuyahoga County Office of Emergency Management is updating its All-Hazards Mitigation Plan. FEMA requires the plan be updated every five years in order to maintain eligibility for certain grant programs.
The Office of Emergency Management is working with Michael Baker International and Burton Planning Services on the update which will act as the blueprint for reducing property damage and saving lives from the effects of future natural and manmade disasters in Cuyahoga County.
To create a plan that represents the needs of the entire county, the OEM is asking for public comment on the draft Cuyahoga County 2022 All Hazards Mitigation Plan Update.
The draft plan is available for public comment starting on April 18th and closing on May 2nd.
