CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – The Cuyahoga County Fiscal Office will be conducting a State of Ohio Forfeiture Land Sale from August 9-August 11, 2022.

The Fiscal Officer is the selling agent for the State of Ohio and is required by law to maintain a list of forfeited properties seized due to nonpayment of real estate taxes.

Details for the sale are as follows:

WHAT: Forfeited Land Sale

WHEN:
August 9-11, 2022
Registration/check-in: 8:00 a.m.
Sale begins: 9:30 a.m.

WHERE:
Global Center for Health Innovation
1 St. Clair Avenue, N.E.

“This is the first auction the Fiscal Office has held since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said County Executive Armond Budish. “These sales will push money back into communities to support our health and human services, schools, and local libraries.”

No pre-registration is required for the land sale. Please note that all purchases of real estate are “buyer beware,” and it is strongly recommended that each buyer contact a real estate attorney and/or title company prior to the sale.

The 2022 forfeited land sale list, the rules of forfeiture sale, and other helpful information can be found on the Fiscal Officer’s website.
