Group is Securing Federal E.P.A Loan for Cleanup

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – Westinghouse-Breakwater Properties LLC & RF ORG I, LLC is securing a $100,000 U.S. E.P.A. Brownfield clean-up loan through the Cuyahoga County Department of Development Brownfield program.

The funds will be used to assist in removing asbestos containing materials within the site at 1200 West 58th Street, in Cleveland.

Developers plan to convert the former manufacturing building into housing units.

Funding for the project comes from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency loan, along with State of Ohio 2022 Brownfield remediation program funding.

The analysis of brownfield cleanup alternatives, along with other documents relating to the remediation of the property, will be available for public inspection at the following repository location until September 15, 2022:
