Cuyahoga County Invites Participation in Democracy with Youth Voters Summit

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – Cuyahoga County, in collaboration with Cuyahoga Community College and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) will host the “Your Vote Matters Youth Voting Summit.”

This nonpartisan event aims to educate and empower young people to actively participate in the electoral process and to make informed decisions at the ballot box. More than 250 students, educators, and distinguished guests from throughout Cuyahoga County, including Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne, are registered to attend.

“Our goal is for our youth to realize the importance of performing their civic duty and participating in the electoral process, as their decisions will shape our region for years to come,” said Yvonne Dortch, the Voting Rights Coordinator for Cuyahoga County Department of Health and Human Services.
