Cuyahoga County is in the process of selecting those services and/or programs that will receive funding from the County’s Veterans Services Fund for the year 2014. The County is seeking applicant organizations that provide direct services to veterans in Cuyahoga County.

The Veterans Services Fund was originally created in 2012 to ensure that any funds appropriated to the Veterans Service Commission (VSC) which go unspent may be used to directly benefit veterans of Cuyahoga County. Because the Veteran Services Fund was established to supplement those existing services provided by the VSC, funding will be allocated to organizations that have a proven track-record of delivering veterans services falling outside the scope of the VSC’s statutory authority.
