Cuyahoga County Council seeking applicants for upcoming vacancy on Personnel Review Commission

Independent body focuses on personnel policy and practice, employee appeals in Cuyahoga County government

Cuyahoga County, OH - In anticipation of an upcoming vacancy on the Cuyahoga County Personnel Review Commission (vacancy beginning on January 1, 2015), County Council is calling for candidates to be appointed to fill a term ending March 7, 2019.

The Personnel Review Commission is a 3-member, independent body created by the County Charter and given responsibility to administer the County’s employment system according to merit and fitness, to resolve personnel matters, and to hear appeals previously under the jurisdiction of the State Personnel Review Board. Members receive a $200 stipend per meeting.

Commissioners, appointed by County Council, must be electors of the County with experience in personnel matters or personnel administration and supportive of equal opportunity considerations.
