County Council seeking applications for 2017 Veterans Services Fund
Cuyahoga County has begun the process of selecting those services and programs to receive funding from the County’s Veterans Services Fund for the year 2017. The County is seeking applications from organizations that provide direct services to veterans residing in Cuyahoga County.
The Cuyahoga County Veterans Services Fund was established in 2012 to ensure that any dollars appropriated to the Veterans Service Commission (VSC) which go unspent are used to directly benefit veterans within Cuyahoga County. Because the Veteran Services Fund was established to supplement the services provided by the VSC, funding will be allocated to organizations that have a proven track-record of delivering veterans services falling outside the scope of the VSC’s statutory authority.
Interested organizations should contact Michael King at mwking@cuyahogacounty.us no later than July 21, 2017.
