CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH - The Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works, the Village of Oakwood, and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) invite the public to provide comments regarding the rehabilitation of Broadway Avenue, from Richmond Road to Macedonia Road.

The project will include:

  • Resurfacing of the roadway surface
  • Pavement base repairs
  • Curb, sidewalk, and drive apron repairs, as needed
  • Curb ramp replacements to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements

The project will stay within the existing right-of-way.

These plans are in the early stages of design, with options for maintaining traffic in one direction during construction and detouring traffic in the opposite direction. Once a decision is made, the final detour routes will be posted with appropriate signage and traffic control devices throughout construction.

Questions and comments must be submitted by March 22, 2024, and may include the effect of the project on local residents, air quality, local economy, floodplains, and historic or cultural resources.

Questions and comments should be submitted to Matthew Jones:
