Food pantries, replacement benefit assistance available

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – Cuyahoga County is working around the clock to address food security needs of the community resulting from Tuesday's storms.

If you are in need of food assistance or other resources:

• Call the United Way Help Center at 2-1-1 for resource information for food, clothing, housing, healthcare, and more. The United Way Help Center is free and available 24 hours a day.
• Visit the Greater Cleveland Food Bank’s Help Center, or call 216-738-2067.
• The Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless provides resource information for meal sites, housing, counseling and more.
• Find Greater Cleveland Food Bank pantry locations.

Cuyahoga County’s Division of Jobs and Family Services is experiencing exceptionally high call volume for requests for replacement Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.

The replacement benefits may be available for SNAP recipients who have been without power for four hours or more.
