The new location will allow us to showcase the new, expanded ballroom and atrium spaces

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne and The City Club of Cleveland are pleased to announce a new location for the 2024 State of the County on Thursday, September 5. The event will now take place in the Huntington Convention Center’s new atrium ballroom. Doors will open at 3:00 p.m. The forum will begin at 4:00 p.m. The City Club will honor all tickets purchased for the former venue.

"I am honored to deliver this year's State of the County address," said Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne. “The Huntington Convention Center’s new, expanded ballroom and atrium spaces has already hosted several important events that have showcased all Cleveland and Cuyahoga County have to offer. We are excited to welcome the public into this new space and share the progress we’ve made over the last year.”

During the State of the County, Executive Ronayne will reflect on his achievements, address our challenges, and outline a vision for the future of Cuyahoga County. “I invite all residents to join me for State of the County to learn about our agenda for our region. Together, we can build a more inclusive, resilient, and prosperous County for all," adds Executive Ronayne.

The event, hosted by The City Club of Cleveland, is sold out. The State of the County will be livestreamed at cityclub.org and broadcast on 89.7 WKSU Ideastream Public Media. No registration is required for livestream viewers.

This special community forum is made possible with generous support from Presenting Sponsor Key Bank. Additional support comes from Cuyahoga Community College, The Good Community Foundation, McCaulley and Company, Medical Mutual, MetroHealth, and United Way of Greater Cleveland.

“The City Club is pleased to partner with Cuyahoga County for this important civic event. This new venue provides an excellent opportunity for the community to engage directly with County leadership in a dynamic and welcoming space,” said Dan Moulthrop, CEO of The City Club of Cleveland.

A community reception with live music, food, and a cash bar will be held immediately following the forum.

Media interested in attending the event should RSVP to Jennifer Ciaccia at jciaccia@cuyahogacounty.us by September 4.
