BLOW THE WOOF OFF! Animal Shelter Offers $25 Adoptions

Lowered adoption fees begin today and run through April 13

SissyCUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH — The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter (CCAS) is offering reduced adoption fees of just $25 through Sunday, April 13 on all dogs four months and older as part of our ‘Blow the Woof Off’ adoptions promotion.

We’re also lending a hand to Kentucky’s Hopkins County Humane Society, which was hit hard by severe storms, by taking in 9 of their dogs and making them available for adoption here. To make this possible, CCAS has partnered with the Bissell Pet Foundation, which is assisting in transporting the dogs from Kentucky.

“We know that the Hopkins County Humane Society is in a tough spot right now, and we’re just happy to be able to lend support,” said Cuyahoga County External Affairs Manager, Jen Huettich. “To make room for our newest arrivals, we’re hoping this promotion inspires people to come in and adopt – or foster – some of our amazing adoptable dogs.”

Adoption fees, which are normally $95, include spay/neuter, vaccines, a 2025 dog license, microchipping, and a current rabies tag.

Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
