CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – This week, members of the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department joined local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies across the nation for ceremonies and services honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and died in the line of duty. Today, the Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Memorial Society parade and ceremony was held in downtown Cleveland, and law enforcement agencies from Northeast Ohio and beyond gathered to march in honor of the fallen.

“Today and every day, we honor the courage, commitment and sacrifice of those who have laid down their lives in service to others,” said Cuyahoga County Sheriff Harold A. Pretel. “We carry their memory in our hearts and reaffirm our promise to never forget.”
